On her commute to work, Charlotte scrolled to watch a Tik Tok of a 5-year-old girl dying. Then a Princess Polly clothing haul, then police body cam footage of a live shooting.
Devastated by the whiplash of content and the sudden urge to shop online, she got off the train, sobbed, and continued to scroll.
Her algorithm continues to drag her into the depths of digital dystopia.
IWSDOTT is a personal, dark and chaotic infinite doom scroll that dissects the imprint of our digital desires and fears.
Made in collaboration with Brand X and the Flying Nun, performed to a sellout season at La Mama In Melbourne.
